Baraka Restaurant is the culinary heart of KC Hotel, offering Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine with Costa Rican touches in a serene poolside setting overlooking the gardens. We are open from breakfast through dinner for hotel guests and local patrons alike.
The day begins with a breakfast buffet featuring cereals, freshly baked breads, eggs, traditional gallo pinto, and a fresh fruit station. At midday, Monday through Friday, our executive lunch is the ideal dining choice near La Sabana. Our all-day menu offers falafel, masabacha hummus, fresh salads, pita shawarma, handcrafted pastas served with homemade garlic bread, Baraka-style pizzas, catch of the day, filet mignon, and our signature Baraka casado.
In the evening, enjoy our craft cocktails and wine cellar—featuring fine wines, gins, and whiskeys—or a fresh tropical fruit smoothie. Join us every Friday for live music.

Baraka is open to everyone. As the restaurant of KC Hotel San José, we welcome both hotel guests and outside visitors every day, from breakfast through dinner.
What are the restaurant hours?
Breakfast buffet daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; à la carte menu from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; executive lunch buffet Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.; dinner and à la carte menu from 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
