At Baraka, KC Hotel’s restaurant, there is a lunch buffet Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.: ₡6,000 with one protein and ₡7,400 with two. It is Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cooking served by the pool, and it is open to the public: you do not need to be a hotel guest.
If you work near La Sabana, it is a midday lunch without leaving the neighborhood. If you are staying with us, the day starts with the included breakfast, from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m., and the restaurant stays open until 10:00 p.m. with shawarma, falafel, hummus, pasta and pizza.

La Sabana Metropolitan Park is a 5-minute walk from KC Hotel. It covers 72 hectares, is open every day of the year and has running and walking trails, sports courts and green areas: the largest open-air space in San José, with free entry.
At the east end of the park is the Costa Rican Art Museum, in the former airport terminal, with free admission Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A possible morning: an early run, breakfast at the hotel and a walk to the museum before lunch.
The National Stadium sits inside the same park, so the way to the concert is also a stroll.

KC Hotel is 1.5 km from the National Stadium: about 20 minutes on foot through La Sabana, or 5 by car. After the concert or the match there is no fighting for a taxi or crawling out of a packed parking lot: you walk back, and your car stays in the hotel’s private parking.

On event nights, rooms near La Sabana sell out early, so it pays to book ahead. KC Hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood, about 3 km from Hospital Metropolitano (main campus), 4 km from Hospital Clínica Bíblica and 6.5 km from Hospital CIMA, in Escazú. The hotel does not provide medical care: it offers peace and quiet, food close at hand and the logistics sorted out for you and your companion.
There is breakfast included, a restaurant open until 10:00 p.m., laundry service, free WiFi, indoor gardens for a short walk without leaving the hotel, and private parking for whoever drives you to appointments. The hotel has no elevator: if you need to avoid stairs, tell us when you book so we can assign a ground-floor room, subject to availability.
