We have been welcoming guests since 2008. Our 60 rooms range from budget-friendly Standard Rooms with garden views to spacious Junior Suites with air conditioning and premium bedding. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Check-out is at 12:00 PM (noon). If you are arriving after 11:30 PM, please contact us in advance and we will arrange late check-in at no extra charge. Early check-in may be available subject to room availability — just ask at the front desk.
Yes. Every guest receives a full complimentary breakfast each morning at our Baraka Mediterranean restaurant. The breakfast includes fresh tropical fruits, eggs prepared to order, traditional Costa Rican gallo pinto, toast, pastries, fresh juice, and locally roasted coffee. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM on weekdays and until 10:00 AM on weekends.
KC Hotel is approximately 20 minutes (14 km) from Juan Santamaria International Airport via Route 1. In light traffic, the drive can take as little as 15 minutes. We can arrange private airport transfers upon request — just let us know your flight details when booking. Taxi fare from the airport is typically -25 USD.
Yes. We offer complimentary private parking for all guests. The parking area is located on the hotel grounds, is gated, and monitored by security cameras. There is no need to reserve a spot in advance — parking is available on a first-come basis and we rarely run out of spaces.
Air conditioning is available in Superior Rooms and Junior Suites. Standard Rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and benefit from natural cross-ventilation through the garden-facing windows. San Jose has a mild, spring-like climate year-round (average 22C / 72F), so many guests find the fan rooms perfectly comfortable. If air conditioning is important to you, we recommend booking a Superior Room or above.
Yes. A USD refundable security deposit is required upon check-in. This deposit can be paid in cash (USD or Costa Rican colones). The full amount is returned at check-out after a standard room inspection. This is a common practice among hotels in Costa Rica.

The National Stadium is a 10-minute walk. Paseo Colon, San Jose main commercial avenue, is nearby with shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The Escazu dining and shopping district is 10 minutes by car. We are also a convenient base for day trips to Poas Volcano, Irazu Volcano, coffee plantations, and the Pacific or Caribbean coasts.
